Jacob Sybrowsky

He has consulted and spoken around the world, developed systems and procedures for change management, and is a firm believer that “we don’t react to what happens to us, but to the difference between what we thought would happen and what actually happened.” Hence the importance of setting and managing expectations when seeking change in families, life, and business.

Jacob holds a Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University.  He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics with a minor in Korean.  He served as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California Los Angeles Mission, speaking Korean.

Jacob and his wonderful wife, Carrie, are the parents of five amazing children. As a family, they spend time running together and enjoy developing their heirloom garden. Most recently, they have added camping and a variety of outdoor activities to a growing list of family hobbies.
